JC de Vera has this clarification
Kapamilya actor JC de Vera reacted to the presumption of netizens that he is supporting the presidential candidacy of former Senator Bongbong Marcos.
It is a common thing during election season that there are celebrities who would vocally express their support for a certain politician or political group while it is also a fact that there are those who consider themselves apolitical.
In a recent Facebook post of JC, there were netizens who thought that he is supporting BBM. It is because of his photos showing that he was doing the victory hand gesture or the “peace sign”.
This gesture is being associated with the political campaign of Bongbong Marcos. In the comment section of his post, JC de Vera answered the assumption of netizens, especially those who support BBM.
The actor said “Nope” to netizens who assumed that he is a supporter of the former Senator who is the standard-bearer of the UniTeam.
In another post, JC shared a photo showing that he gestured the finger heart sign which is being associated with Vice President Leni Robredo. In the comment section of his post, netizens showed proof that the actor is indeed supporting VP Leni.
Because of this, the actor became a trending topic on Twitter on February 11. Many supporters of VP Len thanked and applauded him.
Meanwhile, JC de Vera surprised many showbiz fans when he revealed on Erich Gonzales’s vlog in 2021 that he is already married to his wife Rikkah. This was before their daughter Lana was born.
The actor said that the public did know about this because he never talked about this aspect of his personal life. They had a civil wedding ceremony.
