5 Police, 4 Others Involved in Disappearance of Businessman and Agent Death

5 police and 4 others are suspected to be involved in the disappearance of a businessman and the death of an agent in Naga City.

The family of Jaime Faramil Jr., a businessman, is very concerned. He has been gone for almost a month, having departed Naga City on December 26, 2021. Jaime will only use a pick-up borrowed from a friend to transport the motorbike purchased with the vehicle’s agent Rodrigo Duena.

They reportedly conducted a transaction with Jaime to acquire a vehicle in Bian, Laguna on December 29. They allegedly texted a woman, but the meeting was attended by a male. Andrew, Jaime’s older brother, claims that December 30 was the last day he could text him.

They sought assistance from the police after being unable to reach the brother. They discovered Andrew had made P84,000 in withdrawal operations from Jaime’s bank account. There have been two withdrawals, according to the bank, at Santa Rosa, Laguna, and Dasmarinas, Cavite.

Jaime allegedly brought cash in addition to the withdrawals. Rodrigo was later discovered dead in Tayabas, Quezon. Andrew had spotted Jaime’s automobile in Silang, Cavite, on January 3, but the motorcycle had vanished.

Five police officers and four civilians from the Highway Patrol Group in Calamba were named as suspects by the CIDG-Quezon investigation. The CIDG searched the HPG impounding location in Brgy with the search warrant in place. On February 4, Paciano Rizal will be at Calamba.

Although the persons named on the search warrant were not present, Jaime and Rodrigo’s cellphones and identification, as well as a rifle and ammo, were discovered in a room. Andrew claims that his sibling was not in possession of a firearm.

He also discovered that Jaime’s transaction with a lady had been conducted by a guy. This information was gleaned through the CIDG’s inquiry. HPG Chief Police Brig. Gen. Rommel Marbil stated in a statement that their soldiers were already being held in solitary confinement while the inquiry was underway.

He stated that if their staff are found to be implicated in the crime, the HPG will not tolerate them. The CIDG is still investigating the event and has yet to release a statement.

Because the family had received no information regarding Jaime’s location, his mother, Myrna Faramil, appealed to individuals who could assist them. Please notify the family or the authorities if anyone has information on the victim’s disappearance.
