Kevin Kwan Reveals He Wanted Heart Evangelista To Audition For Movie Adaptation Of ‘Crazy Rich Asians’

The 36-year-old celebrity has been under the spotlight due to her OOTD in Paris. She caught the attention of the online community anew with her unique outfit. In a previous article, Heart called out a tabloid for its distasteful social card about her Paris Fashion Week (PFW) dresses. She told the tabloid that they should change their vibe.
Recently, Heart Evangelista had the opportunity to sit down with Kevin Kwan, the author of ‘Crazy Rich Asians,’ for a one-on-one interview. She was surprised to learn that Kwan had wanted her to audition for the movie adaptation of the novel.

Heart Evangelista shared the news in the latest episode of her “Heartworld” Youtube vlog. She learned about the pleasant surprise during a one-on-one interview with Kevin Kwan during her trip to the US last year for some collab tasks.
During the start of the interview, the Kapuso star remarked that many people are asking how she get to know the novelist. She asked, “A lot of people are asking and you know, it’s been so long. How did we meet? How did we connect? How did it happen?”
Kwan’s answer surprised Heart. “We, let’s reverse it. Let’s rewind it even more. Because I have requested that we get you to audition,” he revealed.
Hearing this, Heart Evangelista was visibly surprised upon knowing that Kevin Kwan requested for her to audition for the movie adaptation of the novel. She said, “I didn’t know that. You didn’t tell me that!”
