Rowena Guanzon No Vote for Robin Padilla: “Maawa kayo sa Pilipinas”

Rowena Guanzon Says She Will Not Vote for Robin Padilla as Senator

Former Commission on Election (Comelec) Commissioner Rowena Guanzon said that she will vote not for Robin Padilla who is seeking a senatorial seat.

The former Comelec commissioner has said unequivocally that she will not vote for the senatorial candidate and action star Robin Padilla. Guanzon stated in a tweet on February 5, 2022, that she will not blacken Robin’s name on the ballot in the next election of 2022.

She went so far as to say that she pity the people of the Philippines. A netizen’s tweet was attached to his. The former commissioner begs God to spare the Philippines from the senatorial candidate who is an action star.

The statement is in response to the issue surrounding Robin’s comment about the death of Supremo Andres Bonifacio in an interview with Karen Davila on ABS-CBN News Channel or ANC on February 4, 2022. He connected the murder of the Filipino woman to the government’s EJK, or extrajudicial killings, in the fight against narcotics.

Many online commentators chastised the senatorial candidate, claiming that what actually occurred to Bonifacio in history was much different. The hero is said to have gone through a proper trial before being condemned to death, which was carried out at Malacanang.

So Guanzon promised, “Hindi ko iboboto si Robin Padilla. Maawa kayo sa Pilipinas.” The disqualification case of presidential contender Bongbong Marcos, or BBM, has gotten a lot of attention recently.
