PUBG Game Ban in Pakistan After Boy Addicted to Game Kills Own Family
An 18-year-old boy in Pakistan addicted to the Players Unknown Battlegrounds (PUBG) game kills his own family thinking they will respawn.
After a massacre caused by an addicted gamer, Pakistani officials requested for the popular game to be outlawed in their nation. According to a TRT World article, a boy admitted to killing four members of his family in a rage after binge-playing online for days.

According to the suspect, he was an 18-year-old gamer who grew hooked on the game and became aggressive as a result of his addiction. Ali Zain allegedly shot his own mother, two sisters, and brother, according to police reports.
According to the inquiry, the suspect attempted to shoot his family in the hopes that they would resurrect as in the game. Ali was addicted to the game and lived in utter seclusion in his room.
The police advised that the game be banned due to its violent nature. Following concerns about the game’s violent violence, Pakistani telecoms regulators briefly barred access to it.
“This is not the first incident of its nature,” police investigator Imran Kishwar told reporters in the eastern city of Lahore, adding “so we have decided to recommend a ban” police investigator Imran Kishwar told reporters.
Several other nations, like India and China, have banned the game – either temporarily or permanently. PUBG is an online multiplayer “battle royale” game in which players shoot each other and the victor is the last person standing.
