Kapamilya actress Angelica Panganiban showcased her “hugot” prowess in this election advocacy ad urging the public to be wise enough in choosing the next leader.
Angelica is known for being straightforward. She speaks her mind and she is not afraid to express what she feels despite the possible bashing that she may get from those who will disagree with her opinion.
Just recently, the Young Public Servants released an election advocacy ad featuring Angelica. The lines she used in the video seemed to have gone along with what she experienced when it comes to love and relationship.
It is known to many that Angelica Panganiban has gone through a lot in this aspect of her life. After all, she wouldn’t be tagged “hugot” queen for nothing.
In the advocacy ad, the actress was urging the voters to avoid being deceived by politicians just like how a woman can be deceived by pretentious suitors. She also said that she learned from experience, trusting someone but in the end, she was left alone hurting.
“Ilang beses akong iniwan sa ere, ilang beses din akong nasaktan, lagapak beh. Dapang-dapa,” she said. She said that this is because she loved and defended that person.
She then stressed that she did not deserve that and people don’t deserve that as well. “I’ve learned my lesson kaya sana, ikaw rin,” the actress said. With this, she urges the public to avoid “manloloko”, especially this coming May 2022 elections.
“Kilatising mabuti ang mga manliligaw. Halughugin and bio-data mula high school hanggang college. Alamin at tingnan ang character references,” Angelica Panganiban said.
Before the video ended, the actress said, “Wag magpapabudol at wag sa magnanakaw!” Because of this election advocacy ad, the name of the actress trended on social media.
