Is it true that Mel Sarmiento did this to Kris Aquino?
Former Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Mel Sarmiento allegedly did this before leaving the house of his ex-fiancee actress-host, Kris Aquino.
Last month, the news about the breakup of Kris and Mel became a trending topic on social media. The famous celebrity announced this through her Instagram post and she shared that breakup message that Mel sent her.
In the February 1 episode of the showbiz talk show Take It Per Minute Me Ganun of Cristy Fermin, Lolit Solis, Mr. Fu, they talked about the former couple. The conversation started with a blind item but eventually, they revealed that it was Kris Aquino.
According to their story, Kris was very generous to her ex-boyfriends. She would give them a “maleta” full of “pasalubong” when she arrives from other countries. However, Cristy and Lolit attested that Kris is not someone who would ask her ex-boyfriend to return the items she gave.
In line with this, it was said that Kris was also generous to Mel and that the latter has already received several branded items from the actress-host.
Before their breakup, based on the story, Mel was staying in the house of Kris since it is required for her to stay in a bubble because of her delicate health condition. When they broke up, it was said that Kris remembered the expensive items she gave to her ex-fiance and she thought that he left this at her house and that she could give the things to other people instead.
However, it was said that Kris Aquino found out that Mel Sarmiento brought the gifts from her when he left her house. Mr. Fu, based on the blind item that was eventually revealed, said that Kris called Mel about this but she did not tell him to return the items.
