CHESLIE KRYST – Former Miss USA titleholder Cheslie Kryst has died at 30 and Miss Universe Organization and beauty queens were saddened about this.

In a previous article, Extra correspondent and former Miss USA Cheslie Kryst died at 30. She jumped to her death which shocked many people. Kryst was last seen on a 29th-floor terrace of the 60-story Orion building where she was residing. She lives on the 9th floor and her body was found at 350 W. 42nd Street in New York City.

“Cheslie embodied love and served others, whether through her work as an attorney fighting for social justice, as Miss USA and as a host on EXTRA. But most importantly, as a daughter, sister, friend, mentor and colleague – we know her impact will live on,” says in a statement from her family as they confirmed her sudden passing.

Following the news, several beauty queens took to social media to mourn Kryst’s unfortunate death. Miss USA 2015 Olivia Jordan and Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenare left comments on the final Instagram post that Cheslie made before she jumped. Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados, meanwhile, shared a video with her expressing disbelief from the fact that she won’t be able to see her ever again.

Miss Universe Organization, on Instagram, expressed sympathy and devastation after losing “one of the brightest, warmest, and most kind people” they’ve known. The post’s caption added, “Our entire community mourns her loss, and our thoughts and prayers are with her family during this difficult time.”

Crowned Pinay Miss Universe queens Pia Wurtzbach and Catriona Gray were also saddened over great loss. Cat said, “Ches…I can’t believe the news. Rest in peace angel. The world will miss your light.”

Pia, who was also utterly shocked over the reports about the expired beauty queen she calls an “angel”, was saddened but thankful for her kindness to her and to people around her when she was still alive. She also shared the hotlines where people can find help.
