Netizens Praised Policewoman for Saving Dog From Burning Beach House in Cebu

A brave policewoman has earned praises and admiration from the online community for saving a dog from a burning beach house.

Patrolwoman Mona Lee Saludar immediately responded to an emergency call after a beach house at Kingdom Resort in Santander, Cebu has been caught by fire. She asked the caretakers if everyone is safe and made it out.

Unfortunately, the caretakers told her that a five-year-old Labrador Retriever dog called Deabak has been trapped inside the burning establishment. The fire had already engulfed the second floor of the beach house during that time.

The lady cop brave entered the building and found the dog shaking in fear while hiding under the kitchen table. “He looked very scared and was already panting when I saw him,” Saludar said.

Saludar and Deabak safely get out of the burning beach house. She saved the dog without hesitation because she came from a family of dog lovers.

The resort owners Sim Sunbo and Han Eun Kyeung owned the dog. The owners were in Dumaguete City during that time. The fire reportedly start from the second floor bedroom.

Aside from Deabak, the couple also owns two small dogs, a poodle and a shih tzu. The caretakers manage to free the dogs from the bedroom after they have noticed the smoke coming from the room.

Firemen also make sure that the cop’s clothes were wet to avoid catching fire. The lady cops shows extreme bravery for her determination to save the dog although she worries about the falling debris.

The policewoman gave the dog water to drink and wet his fur to ease the dog’s temperature. She earned praises online because of her good deeds.
