CLAUDINE BARRETTO – Optimum Star Claudine Barretto shares how she and Marjorie Barretto treated each other during the new year’s party.
In a previous article, sisters with highly-publicized feud Claudine and Marjorie Barretto celebrated new year’s eve along with other family members. People were happy and surprised to see them together in a single event without any commotion or tension that happened and the hope that they’ll reconcile found lived again in the hearts of their supporters.
The last controversial encounter they’ve had was during their father’s wake which was witnessed by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte. The whole incident back then looked like it was Marjorie versus the Optimum Star and Gretchen. Despite their never-ending conflict, people are still hopeful that one day, they will be able to be together again in peace.
And after the photo of Claudine and Marjorie went viral online, Claudine spoke about it and was generous enough to reveal how they were during the new year’s event of their family. The Optimum Star recalled that such an event overwhelmed her because she got the chance to be with her nieces and nephews again.
It was a great new year and regarding how it went between her and her older sister, she said, “It was such a touching experience. Nakaka-miss yung mga pamangkin ko, nakasama ko ulit. Si Marjorie at ako, we were civil naman, pero alam mong wala na… wala nang gulo. Alam mong may peace na.”
Claudine added that it was the “best New Year” of her life because of all the reunion during the said special ocassion and she’s also sure that her late father Miguel Barretto is happy about it. She expressed based on a report from PEP, “I was just able to enjoy my nephews and nieces again, after two years nung nagkagulo sa wake ng dad ko.”
