In line with the coming elections, Karen shared her thoughts on the interviews that Kapuso seasoned journalist Jessica Soho had with the presidential aspirants. To recall, this has become a controversial one because former Senator Bongbong Marcos declined the invitation stating the supposed “biased” issue against the host of KMJS. However, GMA Network strongly opposed the statement from the camp of BBM.

In a Twitter post that Karen Davila shared on January 23, she lauded Jessica Soho and stressed that presidential interviews will allow the voters to see who should they choose.

“Reading Jessica Soho’s Pres Intrvws via @inquirerdotnet. KUDOS Maam Jess! The questions centered on revealing the true character of the candidate. Kaya po mahalaga na mag-pa interview sa mga mamamahayag,” Karen said.

The TV Patrol news anchor also said that it is more difficult to run a country than to face questions from journalists. She also said that every journalist has his or her own style of doing interviews and this will somehow help people in choosing their candidate.

“I am excited for the @ABSCBNNews Debates & Interviews and I wish all other networks well! Media stands together in calling our candidates into account,” Karen Davila added.

She also recalled the time when she was accused of being “biased” but she stressed that hard questions being thrown at the candidates can be beneficial to the public. Karen also said that she has no personal hate against any candidate as she is just doing her job as a journalist.

“We don’t go home personally hating a candidate. Trabaho lang. The Presidency is no joke. The country & our children’s future is at stake,” she stressed.
