According to Pol. Maj. Karl Dy, chief of the Oas Municipal Police Station, Aguilar arrived in Brgy. Maporong while investigating the shooting of councilor Marlon Encabo Rebusquillo and Indian Parmindes Singh, a resident of Polangui. The suspect allegedly introduced himself to the police and rushed to Maporong for a follow-up operation involving the Indian who was found dead in the area.

However, the police officers did not believe him because he was the one who had been positively recognized by witnesses in the neighborhood as the one who had supposedly murdered the barangay councilor and the Indian guy. According to the investigation, the white automobile that crashed into the rice field where Singh was discovered dead belonged to the police.

Sabi niya may follow up operation daw siya.

Further investigation reveals that the automobile crashed into the rice field because the cops and the Indian national may have fought inside the vehicle. When other people observed the automobile fall, they went to the barangay office to report it. Rebusquillo, a barangay councilor, was the first to respond with his motorcycle.

As a result, when he arrived on his motorcycle and presented himself as a barangay councilor, the suspect opened fire. According to eyewitnesses, the cops used the dead councilor’s motorcycle to flee.

After discovering that the suspect’s 23-year-old brother was with the police when he allegedly abducted the Indian a few hours before the event, authorities detained him as well. The kidnapping of the Indian national, who was reportedly seized by two guys and placed in a white automobile, has already been reported to the Polangui PNP.

The siblings will be charged with two counts of murder. The inquiry into the crime’s motive is ongoing, particularly in light of new evidence that the police are supposedly owed money by the dead Indian.
