The son of Jodi Sta Maria is not fond of watching her teleseryes
Kapamilya actress Jodi Sta Maria shared that her son Thirdy does not watch her TV series and here is the reason behind this.
Jodi, from the time she became a part of the iconic youth-oriented series Tabing Ilog, was already featured in various soap operas and drama projects on TV.
Currently, she is portraying the role of Dr. Jill Ilustre in the series The Broken Marriage Vow that is set to premier on January 24. Although she has done several teleseryes already that defined her caliber as an actress, her son did not witness her superb performances in front of the camera.
It is because Thirdy does not like watching her shows, based on the article in Pilipino Star Ngayon. “Lagi ko siyang tinatanong kung bakit ayaw niyang manood ng teleserye ko. Ayaw niya raw akong nakikitang umiiyak. Ayaw niya akong nakikitang nagagalit o inaapi. Nagagalit daw siya sa kaeksena ko,” the celebrity mom said about her son.
The actress would explain to her son that she is friends with her co-stars in real life but the latter is still protective of his mother. Admittedly, Jodi Sta Maria said that she also feels awkward every time she watches herself onscreen.
When it comes to her character in the much awaited series, the actress said, “Si Dr. Jill Ilustre ay isang babae na binibigyang halaga ang kanyang pamilya. Mapagmahal na ina, maasikasong asawa, compassionate na tao in the sense na she really cares for the patients na meron siya. ‘Yung pagkatao niya na naka-anchor sa love, which is what makes her character relatable.”
In a previous article, the actress shared that her character in the series somehow has the same trait with her. She said that she and Dr. Jill are both cool-headed during intense situation.
The Broken Marriage Vow also features Zanjoe Marudo, Sue Ramirez, Zaijian Jaranilla, Jane Oineza, Angeli Bayani, Bianca Manalo, Ketchup Eusebio, Rachel Alejandro, Art Acuña, Empress Schuck, Joem Bascon, Brent Manalo, Malou Crisologo, Franco Laurel, Sandino Martin, Lao Rodriguez, Jet Gaitan, Jie Anne Armero, Migs Almendras, Avery Clyde, and JB Agustin, with special participation of Susan Africa and Ronnie Lazaro.
