Robin Padilla asked peace for Kris Aquino
Senatorial candidate Robin Padilla asked the bashers of actress-host Kris Aquino to give her peace amid her current health condition.
Just recently, Kris shared a post stating that her health is deteriorating. Despite having her health issues, the former presidential daughter still expressed her desire to help her fellow Filipinos.
Aside from her health, Kris is also mending a broken heart. She recently announced that she and former DILG Secretary Mel Sarmiento already called it quits.
Amid this difficult time for Kris Aquino, both physically and emotionally, there were still those who chose to throw mean words at her.
In line with this, Robin Padilla asked netizens to be “makatao”. Based on the article in PEP, through the recent Facebook post of the action star, he expressed concern for Kris’s condition.
“Ako po ay nag aalala kay ms Kris Aquino bilang isang kaibigan, katrabaho at isang Pilipino. Nais ko po makiusap sa mga patuloy na bumabanat kay ms Aquino na magpaka makatao muna po kayo,” he said adding that it is evident that the actress-host is going through a tough time now.
“Bigyan po natin ng kapayapaan at tamang pansin lalo ng moral support ang Taong May karamdaman,” he said. Robin also stressed that regardless of religion and political affiliation, instead of bashing people should pray for Kris instead.
He said that the fact of being a friend, colleague, and fellow Filipino of Kris, prompted him to give this message.
Meanwhile, in a previous article, veteran entertainment columnist Cristy Fermin revealed the reason why Kris Aquino stopped her romantic connection with Robin Padilla in the past. It was because of an unexpected incident in a church when the actress-host asked the entertainment columnist and the action star to attend a mass with her.
