Woman Selling Fake Vac Cards Arrested in Santiago City
Police authorities arrested a woman who was allegedly selling fake vac (vaccination) cards to clients who refused to get vaccines.
After reportedly selling a fraudulent vaccination card at the Old Public Market Gate 1, Centro, Santiago City, a lady faces charges of fabrication of public records. Joan Dariano, 31, of Abra, Santiago City, was identified as the suspect. She is married, self-employed, and lives in Abra.

The City Health Office (CHO) detected her selling a phony vaccination card to those who refused to get vaccinated against coronavirus sickness, according to the report (COVID-19). According to P/Staff Sgt. Jomar Dela Cuesta’s investigation, City Public Market Office Market Guard Fermin Pineda saw the suspect’s illicit selling.
According to the Market Guard, he observed the lady selling a phony vaccination card while patrolling the Old Public Market and detained her right away. The market guard looked for the suspect’s vaccination card, but all she found were four blank vaccination cards with the CHO employees’ complete names and signatures, vaccine brands, and vaccination dates.
As a result, Pineda reported Dariano’s criminal activities to the police right away. Dariano testified in her defense that she purchased the fraudulent vaccination cards from an unnamed individual.
She claims she was persuaded to purchase four blank vaccination cards for one hundred pesos, presuming the signatures placed on the vaccination cards she was also selling were genuine. Police have taken possession of the suspect, who is now facing various accusations.
