Manila Announces Class Suspensions (January 14-21, 2022)
WALANG PASOK – The City of Manila announced class suspensions starting January 14 until January 21, 2022 for all levels.
Over the past few weeks, the cases of coronavirus disease has started to increase again after the Christmas Season. A lot of people have experience various diseases after attending celebrations and parties during the holidays.
The surge of COVID-19 cases also causes the tight supply of Paracetamol brands including Biogesic, Decolgen, Bioflu, Decolgen, Neozep, Symdex, Tuseran, Solmux and other medicines.
Various regions have also raised their alert levels to control the movement of people and prevent the further spread of the respiratory disease and its new variants.
On Thursday (January 13, 2021), Manila Mayor Isko Moreno announced the suspension of classes for all levels in both public and private schools over the entire city. The cancellation of classes starts from January 14 and will end on January 21.

Moreno made the announcement after Metro Manila has been placed under Alert Level 3. The announcement has been made to ensure the safety of both students and teachers amid the surging cases of COVID-19 in the country.
