PIA WURTZBACH – Beauty queen Pia Wurtzbach contracted the coronavirus while she was abroad and lambasted this rude comment about it.
Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach shared just recently that she and her sister are on their way to full recovery after contracting the COVID-19. She’s currently in the United Kingdom with her family and she’s just thankful because her mother was spared. Accordingly, she suffered symptoms like fever, sore throat, body pain, runny rose, cough, and losing both her sense of taste and smell based on a previous article.
“It’s not like a regular cold or flu that goes away after a few days. I’ve never been sick for this long, which lasted more than a week,” she expressed. Since she is a public figure and her social media account is being exposed to the public and scrutiny, apart from receiving comments from concerned people, she also received comments from bashers to which one even said that she deserved it.
She deleted the specific comment but aired out her sentiments about it. Accordingly, she deserved it because she always travels and that she already had it coming. Wurtzbach, shaken by the thought of how someone can say such rude things to other people, added, “Kilabutan sana kayo sa mga sinasabi nyo. Iba na talaga mundo ngayon. Sana di nyo maranasan to.”
Meanwhile, apart from Pia, there were a lot of famous personalities who contracted the virus just right after the new year celebrations. Also, the cases in the country drastically increased following the holidays and the rise up is scaring the people that another lockdown might happen.
