A CCTV camera in a business shows the suspect approaching the victim’s group. Ilagan shot Perez in the head a few seconds later. Police also opened fire on the victim’s drinkers, some of whom crouched beneath the table and fled.

According to the report, Ilagan was apprehended by the Cabuyao Police during a follow-up operation. The officer was purportedly posted to the Cabuyao Police Department as an Intelligence Officer.

The victim and the police reportedly got into an altercation that turned into a furious quarrel when they met in the establishment’s restroom, according to the police who appeared in their questioning. The victim followed him and cursed him, according to Cabuyao Police Chief Lieutenant Colonel Don Salisi.

When the victim rejoined his companions, the suspect approached them and aimed his gun at him. Perez’s family couldn’t believe what had happened to him, especially because he died on his own birthday.

Lisa, the victim’s partner, petitions the authorities to have the suspect removed from service. Salisi, on the other hand, has stated that they would not allow fellow police officials to commit a criminal act that gives a bad reputation to them.

According to Salisi, the suspect is now facing the murder case that was filed. The suspect, who is now being held at the Cabuyao Police Station, has remained mute and has refused to make any statements.
