Cristy Fermin talked about Willie Revillame and his show
Since Monday, January 3, Willie Revillame’s game show Wowowin is airing replays, and veteran entertainment writer/commentator Cristy Fermin revealed the reason behind this.
Willie’s show has been part of the viewing habit of many Filipinos. Throughout the years, the veteran game show host has brought laughter and entertainment to his audience. Aside from this, Kuya Wil also extends help to many Filipinos through his show.
However, these past four days, there was no live show, and replays were just aired. During the January 6, episode of Cristy Fermin’s radio showbiz program Cristy Ferminute with Rommel Chika, the veteran showbiz writer shared that many people asked her why replays are aired instead of a live show.
Cristy said that it is because Kuya Wil is being careful now as the Omicron cases are getting higher and higher these past days. She said that some of the staff members of Willie Revillame tested positive and one of them was his makeup artist.
Because of this, the veteran host is now in quarantine and he decided to temporarily stop the live show. Cristy Fermin also shared that Willie Revillame really loves his show and even it is holiday, he is still doing the live show. However, this time, he needs to be extra careful not just for himself but also for the people he loves and he works with.
Meanwhile, Willie Revillame personally was active in relief operations for the victims of typhoon Odette that left many areas in the Visayas and Mindanao regions devastated before 2021 ended. Kuya Wil went to Siargao and donated P9 million to the affected families.
