Filipino Cue Artist Dennis ‘Robocop’ Orcollo Banned in The US Over Visa Violation

Veteran Filipino cue artist Dennis ‘Robocop’ Orcollo has been banned from the United States (US) for 5 years due to his visa violation.

For the next five years, veteran cue artist and member of the national billiards team will be unable to enter the United States. This comes after US Customs returned Orcollo to the Philippines after imposing a five-year travel ban on any portion of the US for breaking visa violation conditions during his last visit.

Orcollo, also known as “Robocop,” was promptly apprehended and barred from entering the Land of Promise, according to Pool Action TV. Orcollo was held for the first time at Los Angeles Airport on Sunday night, where he was notified that he had overstayed his visa.

Because this was Orcollo’s second infraction, he was deported to the Philippines right away. According to the article, he was advised after his first transgression that the next would result in a five-year ban of visiting the Tate. Orcollo frequently competes in contests in the United States.

Chairman of the Games and Amusements Board (GAB), Abraham ‘Baham’ Mitra, expressed regret for the condition of the Filipino world senior billiard champion. Mitra claims he learned about the pool legend’s detention by US Immigration upon his arrival at the Los Angeles airport, where he was imprisoned for almost 16 hours before being flown back to the Philippines.

Mitra requested that Orcollo’s professional license be updated on a regular basis while he is in the Philippines. Orcollo was among a group of professional billiards players that sailed to the United States in 2020, during the height of the country’s epidemic, to compete in the US Billiards Tour, where the 43-year-old from Surigao was defeated.

When he defeated American Shane Van Boening in a three-day one-on-one 9-ball tournament at Bill’s Bar and Billiards in Oklahoma City in 2020, he earned the moniker “The Money Game King.” Orcollo was about to play in a tournament series in Los Angeles when he was detained for having an expired visa.
