Quarantine Violator Nabbed After Posting Massage Session Online

Quarantine Violator Who Posted Massage Session on Social Media Arrested

Authorities arrested a quarantine violator after allegedly posting a massage session on social media despite the prohibition to go outside.

A quarantine breach was reported to the Department of Tourism (DOT) before to the latest incident in Makati City and the Poblacion girl, according to the report. One of those detained, according to the DOT, was a quarantine offender who received a massage and even publicized it on social media.

“Actually, meron pang isang kaso, binigay yung pangalan, nagskip ng quarantine, in fact nag post pa sa social media na nagpapa-masahe siya. Nahuli na rin,” Tourism Secretary Romulo-Puyat said in an interview with Teleradyo on Monday.

Following an instance involving a Filipina who traveled from the United States and was permitted to avoid isolation in order to attend a party in Makati City, Romulo-Puyat revealed this. They are continuously reminding hotels, according to Puyat, since they are receiving stories of absentee quarantine.

In earlier occurrences, though, they had not been given any names. The Bureau of Quarantine, the Coast Guard, and the Department of the Interior and Local Government are now collaborating on absentee quarantines, according to Romulo-Puyat.

“Ang gagawin na lang namin together with the other authorities, huhulihin na lang kasi lagi naman nilang dine-deny pag tinatanong namin sa hotel na narinig naming may ganito silang patakaran,” he added.

Meanwhile, Gwyneth Anne Chua, the lady who ran away from a Makati hotel quarantine facility to party and thereafter tested positive for coronavirus illness 2019 (COVID-19) after a few days, would not be able to avoid the case. Secretary Eduardo Ao of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) acknowledged this, saying that the action will be conducted when Chua recovers from COVID-19.

  1. I hope the government would be much more strict regarding the protocols implemented and also cancel the flights at least for the safety of the people in the country. Napakaraming taong matitigas ang ulo. Gagawin ang gusto nilang gawin kahit bawal.
