For Julia Barretto, true beauty has this meaning
Actress Julia Barretto shared her definition of “true beauty” but she also admitted having insecurities and how she overcome them.
Julia is blessed with a beautiful face that is undeniably coming from the clan of Barretto in the entertainment industry. With this, it is quite a given fact that she will be commissioned to endorse certain beauty brands.
Just recently, she was launched as the endorser of Miracle White and during the interview, based on the article in The Philippine Star, the actress was asked about her definition of beauty.
“Embracing who you are and being proud of it,” she said adding that she thinks everyone is beautiful in their own way. Being unique from one another is making a person’s own identity, the actress shared.
“And I feel that everybody is beautiful in their own way… It’s just a (matter of) perspective on how you see yourself and how you see others. I believe everybody is beautiful in their own way, of course,” Julia Barretto said.
On the other hand, she also admitted that she felt insecure in the past and it is because of her height. Julia wished that she was taller just like her younger sister Claudie. However, she has learned to accept this flaw.
For Julia, aside from acknowledging one’s flaws, acknowledging the good things about oneself is also important. “You also have to acknowledge the things that you like about yourself or what you think is nice about yourself. You got to have that balance,” the actress stressed.
She also said that acceptance is the first step in acknowledging physical insecurities. When it comes to girls who are losing their confidence, Julia Barretto advised that they should find one or two things that they are good at and the things that make them feel fulfilled.
