Philmar Alipayo Shares Photo of Odette Aftermath In Siargao
PHILMAR ALIPAYO – Professional surfer Philmar Alipayo shared the first photo he took in Siargao after super typhoon Odette.
Siargao was among the islands in the Philippines that’s badly beaten by the super typhoon Odette. It ripped off roofs, destroyed power poles, and knocked out electricity in many areas.
The super typhoon’s property damage on the island reportedly already cost billions. Lots of Siargaonon now are in dire need of food and water.
Celebrity couple Philmar Alipayo and Andi Eigenmann have been greatly affected by the typhoon. The surfing champ uploaded on IG a photo of the damages sustained by their house. The rooftop of Andi and Philmar’s house was damaged during the storm.
The actress-turned-vlogger also shared a video of the devastation that Odette has caused. She showed the road that leads to their home. There are fallen trees, scattered pieces of wood on the road, and roofless structures. In a previous article, she said her Youtube earnings will be used to rebuild Siargao.
Andi Eigenmann’s fiancé is already in Siargao and he was able to take the first photo of his home after typhoon Odette and shared it on his Instagram stories. It was a sad photo that showed the devastation that Odette has caused.
The surfer took a view of what was left of the tress and the debris on the ground. The photo showed the sad devastation that the super typhoon left in its wake. It came with a caption, “First photo back home [sad face emoji].”
In a previous article, Philmar Alipayo was accused of stealing donations from those affected by typhoon Odette. His future wife defended him and said Philmar is “more than willing” to use his own money to help the typhoon victims.
