Barbie Forteza is part of the new Kapuso series

Kapuso actress Barbie Forteza shared her thoughts on being one of the cast members of Mano Po Legacy: The Family Fortune.

Barbie has started her career in showbiz at a young age and he has transitioned as one of the leading ladies of the Kapuso network. She is not just known for her drama acting but she is also good at comedy and now she is part of this big project.

The said series is based on the popular Mano Po movie series. Being part of this iconic project, Barbie said that it is a big blessing for her as she knows that it is a cultural phenomenon, based on the article in GMA Entertainment.

She admitted that upon knowing that she got a role in the series, she was speechless. “Kasi nga we all know kung gaano kalaki talaga and kung gaano naging part na din talaga ng movie industry ang Mano Po,” the actress explained.

Now that it will a version on the small screen, Barbie Forteza is very honored to be part of it. She will be playing the character of Steffy Dy, one of the Filipino-Chinese who came from Binondo.

She will become part of the life of the wealthy Chan clan when she started working as an assistant to Cristine Chan, the character being played by seasoned actress Sunshine Cruz.

GMA, together with Regal Entertainment, is presenting this newest treat for everyone in 2022. Reportedly, this will start airing in January next year as part of GMA Telebabad.

Meanwhile, Bea Alonzo, who officially signed a contract with GMA last July, expressed that she wants to work with Barbie Forteza. “Ang aabangan ko bilang Kapuso ay ang makatrabaho ka, Barbie,” the former Kapamilya star said.
