Chinese National Kidnaps Fellow Countrymen in Pasay City

A Chinese national reportedly kidnapped his fellow countrymen in Pasay City to ask ransom money from the victim’s kins.

Over the past few decades, the rate of criminality continues to increase not only in the Philippines but also in different countries all around the world. Several criminals have no choice but to commit crimes due to financial problem.

The Philippine government is implementing stricter policy but the crimes continue to exist behind the knowledge of the authorities. The rate of criminality continue to surge amid the stricter rules and regulations.

According to the Pasay police, a Chinese national sought the help of Investigation and Detective Management Section to rescue its friend who has been kidnapped by their fellow countrymen. The suspect even contacted him to ask for ransom.

The police officers went to the place wherein the suspect is supposed to receive the ransom for the freedom of the victim. The cops immediately apprehended the vehicle and arrested the suspect.

The authorities found the victim inside the vehicle with his hands tied. The cops also recovered a glass tube inside the vehicle, which allegedly contains the residue of suspected illegal drug and plastic with capsules.

The victim and the suspect refused to give a statement regarding the incident. The police officers were still investigating the incident to find out the primary reason for kidnapping.

The police authorities have recorded numerous cases of kidnapping incidents involving Chinese nationals over the past few years. Most of them were involved in illegal gambling.
