JP Habac is not the original director of the Bea Alonzo-John Lloyd Cruz reunion movie
Is there any intrigue with the original director of the reunion movie of the popular onscreen tandem of Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz?
Fans of Bea and John Lloyd are definitely ecstatic about their new project One True Pair that once again brought “kilig” to the hearts of many. Director JP Habac lauded the two stars for their superb performances as usual.
The onscreen tandem also commended their director for acknowledging what they can contribute to the project and so it has the result that they expected. However, in a recent article by entertainment columnist Gorgy Rula, it was stated that Direk JP was not actually the original director.
A person close to Direk Antoinette Jadaone said that the female filmmaker was supposed to direct this short film as she also wrote the script. Rula shared that the original schedule for the shooting was not followed because Bea Alonzo needed to be quarantined.
The actress was exposed to someone who was infected by the virus at that time. When the new schedule was set, Direk Tonet was no longer available. It was said that the director was surprised that the shoot pushed through without her. However, it was Direk JP who was commissioned to do this, and Direk Tonet had no idea about this.
On the other hand, the script that Direk Tonet was the one that was used for the film. The columnist said that he has not contacted the female director about this but according to what he heard, the advertising agency was not able to settle this Direk Tonet. As of this writing, the female director and the popular food chain company have not yet spoken about this issue.
What can you say about this?
