Robi Domingo has this message to his fellow youth regarding the election
Kapamilya host Robi Domingo encouraged the youth voters to take part in the coming 2022 elections.
Robi is one of the celebrities of this generation who is very active when it comes to addressing social issues and fighting for the things he believes. During the period of voter registration, he was also actively encouraging the youth to register.
He said that he is passionate about this because of one realization. The TV host used to think that his one vote does not matter but this can contribute a lot to making a change in society.
Based on the recent interview by Philstar, Robi Domingo said that youth should “makialam at makibahagi” in the next year’s election. “Yung information naman in a flash makikita mo yan sa internet e. But you have to know the difference between news and fake news. You have [to] verify information,” the Kapamilya star said.
He is also encouraging the voters to choose leaders who will live up to their promises once they got elected. Aside from the good result of the next election, Robi also wished for the return of his mother network.
Last year, ABS-CBN had to shut down because it was not able to renew its franchise as the majority of the lawmakers who are in this specific committee voted against the media company.
“Makabalik ang ABS-CBN. Yung mga boss nasa loob ng Dolphy Theater with the ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra saying ‘Welcome back, Kapamilya.’ I’m gonna fast forward to that moment in a flash kung kaya and it will only happen if we become responsible sa mga desisyon natin including voting for the right one,” Robi Domingo shared his wish.
For now, the shows under the Kapamilya network are using different digital platforms as they are not allowed yet to air on a free channel.
