Kylie Verzosa Reacts To Critics Of Her ‘Provocative’ Roles

Kylie Verzosa chooses this career path in showbiz

Beauty queen-turned-actress Kylie Verzosa has this reaction to the critics of her “provocative” roles in her recent movies.

Kylie, from the pageant stage, was able to have an opportunity to explore the world of acting. In a previous statement, she admitted that her childhood dream was to become an actress, and fortunately, she is living that dream now.

However, there were those who do not like the career path she chose. Her recent movies showed provocative scenes just like what she did in the Filipino adaption of The Housemaid.

Just recently, her movie My Husband, My Lover with Adrian Alandy, Marco Gumabao, and Cindy Miranda has started streaming on Vivamax. In this movie, her role is also provocative. Although Kylie Verzosa has been receiving positive feedback because of her acting stints, there were still those who are criticizing her for choosing to do this kind of project.

Based on the article in PUSH, Kylie is just thankful for the support that she is receiving and hopes that people would also support her new venture. The beauty queen-turned-actress also stressed that she still has a lot more to offer as an actress.

“Ang masasabi ko lang sa kanila, thank you so much for your support for me and sana suportahan din niyo ako in this new venture of mine. I’m an actress and mas meron pa akong puwede mapakita sa inyo as an actress. Thank you and I hope you guys support me still,” she said.

Meanwhile, when asked about the possibility that MTRCB will impose certain restrictions on streaming platforms, Kylie Padilla said that they can do nothing about it but follow. She said that one advantage of streaming platforms is that sensitive topics can be tackled unlike the mainstream platform with regulations.
