Anthony Taberna Emotional On "2nd Birthday" Of Daughter w/ Cancer

Here’s the grateful and heartfelt birthday message of Anthony Taberna for his daughter who has leukemia.

ANTHONY TABERNA – Famous broadcaster Anthony Taberna was emotional on the “2nd birthday” of his daughter who has cancer.

In a previous article, many hearts were left broken after broadcaster Anthony Taberna and wife Rossel Taberna opened up about their eldest’s health condition. Their daughter Zoey Taberna was diagnosed with f Leukemia last 2019 – cancer in the blood. No cure has been created yet to treat patients with this condition but innovations in the medical field have introduced chemotherapy, one way that they can do to prevent it from coming back.

Seeing his daughter suffer and get weakened day by day because of her cancer slowly destroys his strength. But as a father, he knows he should not be feeling that way. He remained strong for them and did everything that he can to make his daughter’s condition improve.

Now, in Zoey’s “2nd birthday” with that condition, he has nothing but complete gratitude to God for hearing their prayers and not leaving them in the darkest times of their lives. On Facebook, he’s all praises to God – the Alpha of everything. He expressed in his post:

“Siya ang pinakadakila. Siya ang pinakamaunawain at walang kapantay ang Kaniyang pag-ibig. Kung kailan tayo pinakalugmok, doon lalo Niyang pinatutunayan na Siya ay maaasahan. At sa gitna ng pinakamabigat na pagsubok, lalo Siyang nagiging malapit sa Kaniyang hinirang.”

He also recalled the struggles and the pain they’ve been through after finding out that the symptoms her young body has been suffering are symptoms of leukemia. They all initially thought that those were just simple symptoms because Zoey, as a child, is perfectly healthy.

If he could, he would definitely have chosen to have the disease rather than his daughter. He would have it transferred to himself so Zoey would be free from suffering. He wrote, “Ang totoo, ang lalong nagpapahapdi sa aming damdamin ay ang tanong ni Zoey sa musmos niyang isipan – bakit siya nagkasakit? Mayroon ba siyang ginawang kasalanan? Kung puwede nga lamang, mailipat na sa akin ang sakit.”
