French beauty queen for Miss Universe 2021 has no choice but to back out after she tested positive for COVID-19
MISS UNIVERSE 2021 – Miss France Clémence Botino has no choice but to back out from the pageant because she tested COVID-19 positive.
The grand coronation night of the Miss Universe 2021 pageant is fast approaching. The candidates are already at the venue which is in Israel. Miss Universe Philippines Beatrice Luigi Gomez has already arrived there and she is more than ready and excited already to fight and represent the country. The one who will be passing the crown to the next winner is Miss Universe 2020 Andrea Meza.
But just recently, the candidate from France has received a devastating COVID-19 test result – she tested positive and on top of that, she will be left with no choice but to back out from the pageant for her recovery. The 24-year-old French beauty queen cried so much after receiving the result. The grand coronation night will be in December 12, 2021 at Eilat, Israel.
After testing positive, she was brought to a government isolation hotel immediately so as not to spread the virus. She was still able to contract the virus despite the fact that she is already fully vaccinated. According to PEP’s report, a part of her post regarding her condition read:
“The first thing I did when I heard the news is calling my family. They have been really supportive. It is not easy to deal with all of that while being far from home but MUO is here to help and to take care of me. I will keep in touch on social media with you all, telling you how it is going on.”
She reminded the people to move with utmost care the “virus is still here”. She also believed that every situation in a person’s is meant to happen to make them stronger.
Meanwhile, as much as many people are aware, the Philippines already has four crowns. Beauty queens Gloria Diaz, Margie Moran, Pia Wurtzbach, and Catriona Gray were the former Pinay beauty queens who won the highly-coveted title.
