Cyclist Airs Dismay to Car Driver Blowing Its Horn While Using Bike Lane

A male cyclist has expressed his disappointment towards a car driver who kept on blowing its horn while using the bike lane.

Nowadays, the Philippine government is already implementing stricter traffic policy and provides bike lanes for Filipino cyclists due to lack of transport vehicles caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

However, there are some vehicle drivers and even some cyclists who were abusing their privilege along the road and ended up violating the traffic policy.

A Facebook user named Eduardo Germino has shared the photo of himself in front of a red car occupying the bicycle lane. The photo quickly spread like a wildfire online and garnered various reactions from the netizens.

In the photo, it can be seen that Eduardo takes a selfie of red vehicle with plate number “NAN 5984”. The vehicle driver allegedly kept on blowing its horn while occupying the bike lane, which is a violation of traffic rules and regulations.

Germino expressed his dismay because the car driver got mad and repeatedly blow the horn along the bike lane. The cyclist aired his frustration against the driver for getting mad although it was his fault.

The incident reportedly happened at Ayala Avenue Bikelane. The biker also called the vehicle driver as ‘kamote’ for being reckless and irresponsible along the road.
