ARTA Personnel Arrested 2 Fixers of Driver’s License in Quezon City LTO Office
The personnel of Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) arrested two (2) individuals allegedly fixers of driver’s license in LTO Quezon City.
The suspects were identified as ‘Vill’ and ‘Val,’ according to an ARTA report. They were determined to be driver’s license fixers at the Land Transportation Office (LTO) in Quezon City. According to reports, ARTA received a tip regarding the two’s illicit activities and dispatched an undercover agent to approach Vill.

According to the agent, Vill requested P4,500 to ensure that his license was immediately upgraded from non-professional to professional. It is stated that if the agent had this much money, he would have passed the examinations no matter what else he answered.
Vill allegedly directed the agent to proceed to the LTO in Quezon City in search of Val, the license fixers’ evaluator. Even though his answers were incorrect, the two proctors altered them so that he could pass.
As a result, the authorities launched an investigation against the two. The two suspects were apprehended while investigators continue to look for their suspected collaborators within the LTO Quezon City.
The ARTA and the LTO previously declared that they will collaborate to strengthen the battle against “fixers” who offer services for driver’s license applications or renewal. The LTO stated that they will continue to process driver’s license applications quickly and efficiently in order to dissuade applicants from seeking services from unscrupulous persons.
LTO advised the public to report illicit activity to the authorities rather than patronizing fixers. Meanwhile, according to ARTA, the fixers took advantage of the public’s perception that the government’s services are still slow and cumbersome.
