Romero, a previous fervent supporter of Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno, was interviewed by vlogger Kabayan JDB. According to Romero, his attitude towards Manila Mayor shifted after his work as a job order staffer at city hall was terminated.

He believes he lost his job because he backed Marcos during a meeting between Moreno’s caravan and the former senator. When Moreno’s party encountered Marcos’ group, Romero allegedly made a ‘peace sign’ as a show of support for the mayor of Manila’s opponent.

“Pag sumama ka sa ibang partido, tatangalin ka kagad [sa city hall]” said Romero.

His work severance had a significant impact on him, and he stated that obtaining food was tough. He added he had five other coworkers who were fired for the same reason as Romero.

Some of Moreno’s fans were unconcerned about Romero’s statement. Romero’s words are reported to be perplexing, and he says some implausible things, such as being the grandson of a governor and the son of Richie D’Horsie.
