Shanaia Gomez, Other Girls on PBB Says They’re Comfortable, Closest To Ther Kuya TJ Valderrama
SHANAIA GOMEZ – Pinoy Big Brother housemate Shanaia Gomez and other girls said they are comfortable and closest to comedian TJ Valderrama.
On Saturday, November 20, “Force Evict TJ” and “Protect Shanaia Gomez trended after photos and videos of Pinoy Big Brother housemate TJ Valderrama allegedly touching his co-player Shanaia Gomez “inappropriately” went viral.
Some viewers claimed this has been happening quite often already on the show. They have called out the producers to take action. They described it as “disturbing, alarming, and malicious.”
The party-list representing Filipino women in the House of Representatives, Gabriela Women’s Party has reacted to TJ Valderrama’s issue. They assured their followers that they had taken note of the videos related to the issue.
An FB page that claims to be TJ’s official account has defended him against the accusations. It says that people were too quick to judge him then they don’t know him personally.

On Monday night, November 22, PBB host Toni Gonzaga read the official statement of Pinoy Big Brother on the issue.
“Ang harassment ay isang bagay na di palalampasin ni Kuya kailanman, lalo na kung ito ay may patunay.
“Ngunit mismong ang mga housemate na ang nagsabing walang anumang nagaganap na ganito sa loob ng bahay.
“Nawa’y mas maging mapanuri at responsable ang lahat sa social media, at huwag manghusga lalo na kung hindi sapat at tama ang konteksto at impormasyon.”
Prior to his message by Toni, the conversation between the housemates and Kuya was shown. He summoned the group of male and female housemates separately. He did not directly mention the issue but he asked them how they treated each other.
When Kuya asked the girls which male housemate they were most comfortable with, four of them said they were close to TJ Valderrama. They think it’s because he’s older.
Anji Salvacion said, “I feel I’m comfortable kay Kuya TJ kasi he’s like my big, big brother na talaga, Kuya.”
Alexa Ilacad also says she feels good about the comedian. She said, “Si Kuya TJ. Meron na kaming parang telepathic communication na nabuo.”
“At he always tells me na I remind him of his real sister in life. Para sa akin naman, he’s the kuya I’ve always wished for since bata ako.”
Shanaia Gomez’ answer was almost the same. She said “Common denominator – Kuya TJ, Mama Brends.”
“Caring po sila. They always come to the rescue. Parang kuya na talaga sila sa akin so I’m really, really happy.”
