The ex-boyfriend of Rabiya Mateo had this intriguing statement against her
Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo shared her reaction to the intriguing Pinoy Big Brother audition video of her ex-boyfriend Neil Salvacion.
After the Miss Universe pageant, rumors surfaced that Rabiya and Neil had already broken up. It was the latter who confirmed the split in June and the beauty queen made a statement about this also after that.
In September, the audition video of Neil for the Kapamilya reality show went viral. “Nakakalungkot man mag-isolate ng ilang buwan, mas nakakalungkot pala maiwan ka ng taong minamahal mo dahil sa pangarap nitong korona,” he said.
In line with this issue, based on the article in Bandera, Rabiya Mateo was asked to react during a recent interview for her contract signing as one of the newest Kapuso artists. The Ilongga beauty shared that she and Neil have been talking already and he told her that he wanted to join PBB.
“I told him, ‘Go ahead. I’m proud of you,” Rabiya shared her reply to her ex-boyfriend. She also said that after the audition video went viral, they also talked and Neil apologized to her. “After nu’n, we also talked about the issue, and he said sorry,” she said.
Rabiya added that perhaps her ex-boyfriend was not prepared enough how people would react to whatever a public figure will do or say. “If you really want it, if you can take the responsibility, then go ahead,” she said.
Rabiya Mateo also shared that she extended her sympathy to Neil Salvacion as he recently lost his mom. She said that this is the reason why she does not mind whatever people would throw against her and Neil because she knows that he is her best friend.
They have been together for seven years and for Rabiya, this span of time is not something that would be easily be forgotten.
