Isko Moreno Distance Himself from Duterte’s Drug User Prexy Bet Blind Item
Presidential aspirant Francisco “Isko” Moreno distance himself from President Rodrigo Duterte’s drug user prexy bet blind item.
President Rodrigo Duterte recently claimed that he is not the presidential candidate who is supposedly a cocaine addict during his speech during the National Task Force End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) operation in Oriental Mindoro. According to Duterte, there is a politician vying for national office who uses illegal substances.

After that, Moreno distanced himself from the president’s blind item. He claims he has never tasted any illegal substance, including solvent, which is commonly used by street drug addicts.
“Ah mahirap lang ako, kahit nga solvent di ako tumikim cocaine pa,” Moreno said during his visit to a group of farmers in Calauan, Laguna, yesterday morning.
Moreno, on the other hand, admitted to tasting alcoholic beverages such as Gin, White Castle, Tanduay, and others, with the exception of Foundador, which is supposed to be reserved for the wealthy. Moreno further underlined that he was not commenting on other Presidential candidates; all he stated was about himself.
“Hindi naman maganda kung drug user ka tapos Presidente ka, baka maging drug lord ka pa, alam mo yun narco politics,” said Moreno.
Moreno further stated that if he is fortunate, the drug traffickers will be imprisoned. He also stated that he will eliminate drug pushers in compliance with the rule of law, just as they do in Manila.
“Let me see, sisiguraduhin ko mahohoyo sila yung mga drug pushers, gaya ng ginagawa namin sa Maynila , alinsunod sa rule of law,” Moreno added.
Moreno is believed to be grateful to his mother, who is a strict disciplinarian, for raising him well despite their poverty. Meanwhile, other presidential contenders have yet to express their views on President Duterte’s drug addict blind item.
