Famous host Willie Revillame shows support for Bong Go and Sara Duterte for the upcoming election.
WILLIE REVILLAME – Kapuso host Willie Revillame says he will support Bong Go who is running for president and Sara Duterte for vice president.
Last November 15, the list of people aspiring for certain public positions has finally been finalized following a gruelling couple of weeks of substitutions and withdrawals. And on the same date, Bong Go and Sara Duterte officially declared running for the presidency and vice presidency, respectively. As COMELEC closed its doors on substitution of candidacies, they have reported that there have been 19 national withdrawals.
And just recently, accompanying presidential aspirant Go at the launching of ‘Malasakit Center’ in Malabon, Willie Revillame has aired something as to who he will support. In his speech, he clearly declared that he will be supporting Go and the presidential daughter in their bid for the May 2022 election.
In his speech, he has stated, “Senator Bong Go for president. Vice President, Sara Duterte. Yun po ang aking susuportahan.”
He also talked about the phone conversations he had with President Rodrigo Duterte and his daughter. It happened separately and he is hoping that the two of them will run next year together “as a family”.
To recall, Revillame announced before that he will not run for any position this coming election. He believes that even without the position, he can still do so much to help the people. He decided to continue doing his show in order to also continue helping other people.
He said based on a previous article, “Hindi ko po kailangan kumandidato. Hindi ko po kailangan manalo. Ang kailangan ko ay makasama kayo. Dahil sa puso ko, sa isip ko, dapat laging ang mga Pilipino ang panalo.”
