Based on the report from Inquirer, on November 13, Dela Rosa announced his withdrawal from presidency. He said that it was the decision of the party.

On the same day, Bong Go filed his candidacy for President. The two politicians were accompanied by Pres. Duterte. In an ambush interview, the Chief Executive hinted about his next move.

He said that he will be now the assistant of Go. When asked if he will be running for Senator, he said, “Magba-vice [president].” Then, he was asked if this means he will go against her daughter for the VP position, he answered, “I don’t know, nag-file ba? Yung anak ko nag-file ba? Monday na lang ako.”

Based on the report, Presidential Communications Operations Office Secretary Martin Andanar, who was also present in the event, said that PRRD will be returning to the Commission on Elections on Monday to file his certificate of candidacy for vice president.

Senator Bong Go is now running under Pederalismo ng Dugong Dakilang Samahan (PDDS). PDP-Laban Cusi-wing Secretary General Melvin Matibag said that this decision of the Senator was due to the “leadership issue in PDP Laban has yet to be resolved by the Commission on Elections.”
