What’s next for Sarah Geronimo?
Viva head Boss Vic del Rosario announced that Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo will be returning to doing her showbiz engagements.
Sarah is one of the prized talents of Viva and the Kapamilya network as well. She has been under the management of Boss Vic since 2003 and that was after she won the singing competition Star For A Night that was produced by Viva.
From that competition, she paved her way to stardom and did several shows and movies with Viva and ABS-CBN. However, these past two years, the singer-actress has become inactive. Based on the article in PEP, the absence of Sarah Geronimo was because of the fact that she is still in the “honeymoon stage” after she tied the knot with Matteo Guidicelli.
“Regular naman iyong latag ko ng plano sa kanya. Siyempre, ngayon ang kaibahan, tamad na siya mag-work. Last year was more of a honeymoon stage siguro sa kanya,” Boss Vic shared adding that he let Sarah do what she wanted to do.
“Hinayaan ko, kasi that was the time na pwede siyang magluto, she was making a lot of the decisions on her own. Ngayon regular ang exercise, ang ganda ng katawan, mas may time siya doon. Nadadala naman ni Matteo,” he said.
He also said that he told the Popstar Royalty to start working again and probably next year she will go back to her showbiz engagements. However, the actress-singer is a bit apprehensive to go back because of the pandemic.
“Next year siguro, sabi ko, mas magtrabaho na siya dahil medyo mahaba na, medyo relaxed siya. Takot din kasi siyang magkasakit, di ba? So, na-busy sa pagluluto at saka sa pagbe-bake,” Boss Vic shared.
With this, Sarah Geronimo is expected to return to ASAP Natin ‘To. The recently-released ABS-CBN Christmas Station ID is the kickstart of her much-awaited return.
