This is what Vilma Santos said to those famous celebs who are entering politics.

VILMA SANTOS – Veteran actress and politician, Vilma Santos speaks about her colleagues who have political plans and joining the election next year.

Halalan 2022 is getting more intense as it nears. In choosing a leader, people have their own choices based on who they think best fits a certain position and the most qualified. And Vilma Santos, one of the veterans when it comes both in politics and show business, has only one piece of advice for the aspirants and that is to sacrifice.

In a previous article, after a length of thinking things thoroughly and making several considerations with everything that is happening, Santos came up with a decision regarding her political career. She decided not to pursue or any position in the 2022 elections. The Star for All Season has been in service for many years already for the people of Lipa and the Batangas province.

One of the contributing factors was the limitations set in campaigning. The aspirants are not allowed to be in any physical contact with the people and she admitted that this part is tough for her. However, she clarified that not running for any public post meant not being of service as well because, for her, she’ll remain serving the people even without the political title.

And now, reacting to those celebrities like her who are running after a political position, she told them that being in the field is not easy. It demands sacrifice from them in order to serve the people rightfully. She said to them, “Sa lahat po ng colleagues ko na nag-file ngayon and interested na pumasok sa politics, good luck to you.”

She added that if they win, they have to be prepared to be of service and to learn from the heart because it’s one way they’ll get fulfilled. The Star For All Seasons stated, “Sabi ko nga, kung kayo ay mananalo i-prepare n’yo po ‘yung sarili n’yo to serve and to learn from the heart. ‘Pag nangyari ‘yun, fulfilled na kayo.”
