Lolit Solis shared her reaction to the network transfer of Bea and John Lloyd
Veteran showbiz writer Lolit Solis said that it is “plastic” to have tremendous excitement over the transfer of A-list stars Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz to GMA-7.
Last July, Bea officially signed a contract with the Kapuso network, and this November, John Lloyd has become the newest contract artist of GMA. With this, it is inevitable for the fans of the two celebrities, as well as solid Kapuso fans to get excited for this new chapter in their careers.
However, in the recent Instagram writeup of Lolit Solis, she said that this excitement is overrated. “Hindi ko makuha iyon logic na dapat ma excite sa paglipat nila Bea Alonzo at John Lloyd Cruz ang GMA7,” she started.
Lolit stressed that it should be the other way around. For her, Bea and John Lloyd should feel the excitement to be in the Kapuso network now.
“Kung nuon siguro na fierce ang rivalry ng GMA7 at ABS-CBN baka bongga ang pag transfer ng dalawa,” the showbiz writer said adding that now that the Kapamilya network has no franchise and their previous home network let go of them, they have no other choice but to be in GMA.
“Plastic na plastic naman na dapat ma excite ng sobra sa paglipat ng dalawa. Meron mga matatag at malaking stars ang GMA7,” Lolit Solis added. Then, she enumerated the loyal Kapuso artists like Marian Rivera, Dingdong Dantes, and Jennylyn Mercado.
She said that Bea and John Lloyd are just additions and not “saviors” who will raise the ratings of the network. For her, what Bea and John Lloyd was “force transfer”. “Harsh pero tutoo, huwag na tayong mag eklayan pa. Basta ok lang, lumipat sila, no big deal,” she added.
