Will Maxine Medina also do sizzling roles?
MAXINE MEDINA – Miss Universe Philippines 2016 Maxine Medina refuses to do what Cindy Miranda and Kylie Verzosa did in their films.
Miss Universe Philippines 2016 Maxine Medina said based on a previous article that being in the pageant world prior to joining the show business industry has helped her a lot. One of those she learned is how to handle the people around her and protect herself from the things they would say against her. The last project she did is the Kapuso series First Yaya where she played a kontrabida role.
Now that she is in the entertainment industry, will she also do what her fellow beauty queens Bb. Pilipinas Tourism 2013 Cindy Miranda at Miss International 2016 Kylie Versoza did? Miranda and Verzosa have both become fearless. They have controversial and sizzling roles in the films they did but Maxine, on her part, refuses to do the same in her showbiz career.
Accordingly, she grew up in a conservative family and he respects her father. She has opened it to them once and when they explained their side to her regarding this matter, she fully understood where they were coming from. She added, “Saka I’m a Catholic din po, and siguro, for them [Cindy and Kylie], it’s art. Pero sa akin po talaga, no-no po talaga, kasi ang mom and dad ko po, talagang watching over me.”
And in her own opinion, what Kylie and Cindy did is for art and craft. It’s their showbiz world and she has a path to take different from theirs. For her, it’s probably what they enjoy doing as per a report from PEP.
