Karen Bordador in Tears Recalling Her Life While She Was Inside Prison
Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) housemate Karen Bordador becomes emotional as he recalls her life while she is being inside the prison.
The former DJ came out about her stint in prison on the November 3 episode of PBB: Kumunity Season 10 amid the task where she and her roommates faced consequences for breaching house rules. Bordador and her housemates spent the night as “inmates,” away from the luxuries of the ordinary house, as a punishment for their previous week’s transgressions.

The challenge made a number of housemates wonder how Bordador dealt with her five-year detention for a drug-related charge. Bordador and her partner Emilio Lim were arrested in August 2016 and accused of illegal drug possession and selling.
After a Pasig City court found “issues of credibility” in the witness statements and that testimonies contradicted CCTV footage provided as evidence, both were acquitted and released in June of this year. Bordador attempted to resume her profession after her release, initially by reintroducing herself and recounting her experience in a vlog in late August.
In mid-October, she was unveiled as an official housemate on the “Kumunity” season of “PBB.” Bordador reflected in the confession chamber, where housemates had the opportunity to speak with “Kuya,” on how her imprisonment had a significant impact on her family.
Bordador was overcome with emotion as she described her mother’s “unconditional love,” despite the situation’s negative influence on the latter’s professional life. She then talked about how she overcame the psychological effects of being detained for so long.
