BOC Seized P8.6 Million Worth of Party Drugs in Pasay Allegedly Shipped From Germany

The personnel of the Bureau of Customs (BOC) in Pasay City has intercepted P8.6 million of party drugs allegedly shipped from Germany.

Three cargoes in Pasay city were detected to contain party drugs in two bonded warehouses at Ninoy Aquino International Airport, according to a BOC report (NAIA). NAIA-IADITO discovered illegal drug shipments at the Central Mail Exchange Center (CMEC) on Domestic Road in Pasay City.

They also raided the FedEx Cargo warehouse at the NAIA complex’s International Cargo Terminal (ICT). The first consignment, with airwaybill no. CY549214671DE, was deemed ‘children’s toys, bag, shoes, hat, water bottle, and colored pencils,’ according to NAIA-AIDITO staff.

According to the report, the shipper was Afrim Yusuf of Venloer Strasse 31, 41462 Neuss, Germany, and the shipment was delivered to Patricia Reyes of 73 Agno Extension, Brgy., Tatalon, Quezon City. The cargo contained 4,447 Ecstacy tablets worth P7,729,900 on the black market.

While a package weighing 178.5 grams of Ketamine with a street value of up to P890,000 was kept at the FedEx Cargo Warehouse. Another postal post from Germany that had no shipper was seized and sent to Angeli Khang of 1583 Fermin Tubera St., Tondo, Manila 1013, Philippines containing only 100 pills.

Ken Tan of Jalandhar Kuchai Maju 12, Kuchai entrepreneurs park, Kuala Lumpur 58200, Malaysia, delivered a cargo containing 178.5 grams of Ketamine to Freddie Santos of 165 G. Reyes St., Pasay City, with the airwaybill number 773984470180.
