Marco Gumabao had to call Jake Cuenca due to this
Actor Marco Gumabao asked the blessing of fellow actor and his friend, Jake Cuenca, before doing this thing with the latter’s girlfriend actress Kylie Verzosa.
Marco and Jake have been sharing a strong friendship for several years now. That is the reason why Marco had to talk to Jake to ask for his blessing when it comes to doing an intimate scene with Kylie.
Marco and Kylie are the lead stars of the new Viva movie titled My Husband, My Lover. Out of his respect to Jake Cuenca, Marco Gumabao talked to the former about this, based on the article in Manila Bulletin.
“Syempre, I had to ask him for his blessing kasi kahit sabihin nating trabaho ‘to, as a gentleman and as a brother to him, I felt I had to,” he said. Being an actor also, Jake understands that some movies and TV series require to have intimate scenes.
Marco shared that Jake texted this as his reply: “Bro, you have my blessing, galingan n’yo.” He also shared that the intimate scenes that he and Kylie did were “mainit talaga”. However, Marco said that they did these scenes professionally and in good taste.
Kylie also shared a good comment from her boyfriend regarding her movie with Marco. “Sobrang na appreciate ko ‘yun with Marco. Even Jake said tama ang ginawa ni Marco and Jake was grateful. He was the one who told me that Marco called him up,” the beauty queen-turned-actress said.
She also said that she really appreciates the support coming from her boyfriend when it comes to her career. To recall, when Kylie did the movie The Housemaid, she said that it was Jake who encouraged her to do the project.
