Trillanes Calls Isko Moreno A “DDS” After Showing “True Face”
ISKO A “DDS” – Former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV called out Manila Mayor Isko Moreno as being a “pretender”.
According to Trillanes, the Manila Mayor was merely portraying to be part of the opposition. Furthermore, he emphasized that Isko was never with the opposition from the beginning.
During an interview with ABS-CBN, Trillanes said:
He was never with us from the beginning. All this projection that he could be sold as part of the opposition is just a front. And that he was just trying to play both sides of the political aisle
Yesterday, during a public address, Isko called out Vice President Leni Robredo and said that even if she changed colors, she and her camp were still “Yellowtards”. Moreover, he called Robredo a “fake leader”.
Isko’s statements came after Robredo said that unity talks the latter couldn’t be a possibility as both have different principles. Robredo cited the Manila Mayor’s stance on the Marcoses. Additionally, she said that Isko and her would not meet eye to eye on various points.
As a response, the Manila Mayor slammed Robredo and asked why she was still fighting the war on Marcoses while the Filipino are suffering. “You’re not even proud of your party. Kung kayang mong iwan ang mga kasama mo, paano pa kaya kaming 110 million Filipinos?“, added Isko.
Following this, Trillanes highlighted how Isko’s remarks were similar in tone to the language used by supporters of President Rodrigo Duterte to attack critics of the administration.
“Yan ‘yung saloobin ni Isko. That’s what I’ve been telling that he was never with us in the opposition. Because kung nasa opposition ka, you wouldn’t even utter those words, much less to the Vice President”
Along with this, Trillanes said that for somebody to use such polarizing words, one has to be a die-hard Duterte supporter. “Malinaw na sa lahat”, he said.
