Police Hunts Housemaid After Stealing P300k From Elderly Employer

The police authorities is currently searching for a Pinay housemaid who allegedly stole P300k from her 98-year-old employer.

Robbery has been one of the major crimes happening not only in the Philippines but also in different countries all around the world.

The housemaid’s illegal activity has been caught by a CCTV camera installed inside the house of her elderly employer at Barangay Nancayasan, Urdaneta City, Pangasinan. The woman earns criticisms from the netizens.

In the video, it can be seen that the lady employee entered her employer’s room and came out with an envelope containing a huge amount of cash (dollars and peso bills). She paced the envelope at the back of a chair, which her bag is hidden.

Urdaneta City Police Station Officer in Charge Pmaj. Rowel Albano also released the results of the investigation showing that the suspect has four addresses.

“Nakitang pumasok sa kwarto ng victim mula sa cabinet ‘yung pera. Ang suspek natin ay merong apat na addresses na lumabas sa pagsisiyasat natin,” Albano said.

The victim’s relatives would file charges against the female suspect because of her actions. The relatives did not expected that the maid would learn about the victim’s hidden money at the cabinet.

The police authorities advised the public to be more meticulous and careful when hiring employees. The cops advised the employers to conduct a record and background check. Applicants should submit police or NBI clearance to their employers.
