Chavit Singson Worries Senator Manny Pacquiao Health After His Boxing Retirement

CHAVIT SINGSON – Ilocos Sur Mayor worried about the health of Senator Manny Pacman Pacquiao who is now running for the president position.

Ilocos Sur mayor Chavit Singson gave his thoughts on Senator Marcos’ health in an interview with Narvacan. Singson said on the Usaping Bayan show that Sen. Pacquiao is in good health thus far.

However, he explained that Pacquiao may not have realized the significance of his decades in the ring. Because their head was disturbed during their fight, he claims, their health concerns reaction is delayed.

“Healthy naman pero… sa mga boxers delayed ang reaksyon kasi naaalog ang utak nila sa laban e, so delayed ang reaction non, hindi natin alam,” said Singson. “Kaya kahit hindi kami nagkakaintindihan, naaawa din ako sa kanya baka mamaya mag after effect ‘yung boxing.

“Kasi grabe ang alog ng utak ng mga boxer, so hopefully hindi masisira ang (utak) niya diyan, sa tagal ng boxing niya, mula bata naalog na ang utak niya,”he added.

In the same interview, Singson stated that if the “pambasang kamao” loses the election due to the cost, it will have a significant impact on Pacquiao’s family. He stated that Pacquiao’s money would be spent on his presidential campaign.

“Nasasayangan lang ako kasi, magastos na tao. ‘Yung naiwan na pera niya (Manny Pacquiao), mauubos ‘yun pagtakbo niyang presidente. Kawawa ang pamilya niya.”said Singson.

He further claimed that Pacquiao ignores his suggestion to focus on building a large business if he wants to help more people. It will be recalled that Pacquiao and Singson had a rupture in their relationship over a number of topics, including the imposition of higher tobacco taxes. Singson also stated that he will not endorse Pacquiao for president since the time is not yet right.
