AJ Raval has this response to critics of her movie genre
Showbiz newbie AJ Raval reacted to the critics of the films that she is doing with the “naughty” theme that has become a trend once again.
There was a time in the history of the Philippine entertainment industry that a big percentage of movies being released were with unwholesome content. That was the time when there were “ST King and Queens”.
Nowadays, it appeared that these kinds of movies are getting popular once again. However, there were those who are criticizing this genre as they are branded as “offensive or distasteful”, based on the article in Inquirer Lifestyle.
When asked about her reaction to the critics of this film genre, AJ Raval said that she does not care what other people may think about this. “Wala akong reaction. Wala akong pakialam sa mga negative stuff. Mas nag-po-focus lang ako sa mga positive,” the newbie actress said during the press conference for her movie Shoot, Shoot! with comedian-rapper Andrew E.
She also shared that she thinks that “naughty” films are in demand once again because of the technology and most people are just staying at home.
“Lahat gumagamit ng cellphone, ng internet, lalo na ngayong panahon ng pandemya, ng lockdown. Walang pinagkakaabalahan ang mga tao. Nasa bahay lang sila at puro phone lang. Siguro doon siya naging trend,” she said.
In the same press conference, the young actress was also asked about her ideal man. AJ said that she is not really prioritizing the looks. She is more attracted to a man who is responsible and with a sense of humor. AJ Raval recently admitted that Aljur Abrenica is courting her.
To recall, the showbiz newbie also said that she does not mind the bashers of her blooming relationship with Aljur who is the estranged husband of Kylie Padilla.
