4 Motorcycles Plowed by Unattended Mixer Truck with Weak Breaks in Zamboanga Sur

Four (4) motorcycles were destroyed after being plowed by an unattended mixer truck allegedly with weak breaks in Zamboanga del Sur.

According to the Pagadian Police Department, a mixer truck with no driver inside started driving straight into parked cars and collided in the town. The mixer truck was parked on the side of the road when it started running without the driver, according to the police.

The parked motorcycles are plowed. According to the police investigation, the truck moved because of its brakes’ lack of grip.

Because the truck driver did not arrive right away, two of the four trucks that were plowed were not immediately removed. Thankfully, no one was injured as a result of the incident.

Meanwhile, a backward-accelerating SUV slammed into a restaurant in Angeles City. The SUV arrived fine at the parking lot of the said restaurant near the gasoline station, according to CCTV footage.

The SUV abruptly accelerates and rams the establishment as it is slowly crawling backward. According to the report, the vehicle collides with many customers and staff inside the business. The incident resulted in the death of one diner and the injury of one restaurant staff.

After colliding with the restaurant, the 29-year-old driver escaped. However, the culprit was apprehended at a checkpoint and charged with reckless imprudence resulting in homicide, bodily harm, and property damage.
